The main aim of EBio is to support the development of the Estonian biotechnology sector and represent the sector. To reach these aims, EBio conducts activities in the following areas:
Mailing list for members of EBio publishing news, event announcements and partner searches
Publishing news on EBio’s website and forwarding them to our press contacts
Conducting and collecting researches
Answering and mediating information searches
Mediating incoming and outgoing partner searches
Contact-making through international networks
Collecting data on partnering databases
Composing promotional materials on Estonian biotechnology
Promoting the Estonian Biotechnology sector on external events and in publications
Representing Estonian biotechnology on fairs (for example organizing joint stands at Biotech Forum)
Joint events for members of EBio, for the sector and partners (for example the biotechnology roundtable, biotechnology career days etc.)
Consultations for members
Leading the process of composing the Estonian biotechnology strategy
Representing the views of the sector towards decision-makers
Promoting biotechnology to wider public
Participation in international projects (for example within the 6th EU Framework program)
Participation in BioSPINNO 2, an Estonian-level project facilitating technology transfer
